Havilah Bath and Body is a bohemian luxury body care line with a socially conscious imperative.  The line was conceived as the result of Amber Bolden’s life-long love affair with scent, texture, beauty, and mission-driven work.

 

The name was inspired by Genesis 2:10-2:12:

 

“A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.)”

 

Amber was always a bath and aromatic scent enthusiast, but after reading these scriptures, she knew that Havilah would be the name of her developing bath and body line. The first collection, “The Chakra Collection” is inspired by Hinduism, however elements of the collection have also been inspired by different religions and ancestral teachings.

 

At Havilah, we believe religious teachings represent different paths to spiritual learning. We don’t believe these teachings need to compete. Instead they can work in harmony to help people receive core messages and to inspire people to be more compassionate and connected.
